St. Augustine
Three two-hour sessions (March 20th, 27th and April 3rd; 6:30 PM start, 8:30 PM end for each session).
For each session, bring your Bible, a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, a notebook, a pen or pencil, a willingness to learn and lots of goodwill. Be ready to take notes, discuss some really cool ideas and receive homework (yes, you will be assigned some homework). <smile>
Cost: Freewill offering (Suggested $35)
The materials recommended for this Lenten Mission are as follows: The Catechism of the Catholic Church and The Great Adventure Catholic Bible. You can order these materials from Sunrise Marian directly at the above links or, if you wish to save on shipping costs, you can participate in the bulk order being made by the parish and have your materials ready for pickup at the first session.
Bulk Order
To participate in the bulk order, you must provide cash or a cheque to the parish office (Jason Morin) no later than close of business on Friday, March 7th. Make your cheque payable to Dcn. David Mulcair, and indicate what products you wish to order ($17.50 for the Catechism of the Catholic Church; $63.00 for The Great Adventure Catholic Bible; $80.50 for both)).
In addition to the above materials, participants who wish to order the following supplementary materials can do so in the same ways as described above (i.e., individually from Sunrise Marian or via the above bulk order ($18.00 for The Great Adventure Catholic Bible Indexing Tabs; $9.50 for The Great Adventure Bible Timeline Chart; $27.50 for both)).
