Healing of the Generations
The Night of Reconciliation is in preparation for a subsequent Mass for Ancestors, which together provide healing for yourself, your ancestors, and your descendants.
How does this work? In addition to the harms caused by your own sin and trauma, the effects of such harms can be passed through generations. For example, an issue that reoccurs down your family line, such as grandfather to father, aunt to aunt, or cousin to cousin.
Some issues are obvious, whereas others are known only to God. As such, great traumas are healed through generational healing prayer without ever knowing the exact cause.
