For Deacon Dave
As previously announced, Deacon Dave has been called by God to the priesthood. He is leaving for Toronto at the end of August to begin his studies at St. Augustine’s Seminary.
In honour of this momentous occasion, and in recognition of all his hard work and devotion to the parish (especially with the Sacraments of Initiation and Parish and Community Evangelization) we are having a “Hail and Fairwell” Potluck, in military fashion, immediately following the 10:00 AM Mass on August 16th. This will also serve as a festive welcome for Fr. Paul.
Sign‑up sheets with a list of food items will be available in the narthex. We also need volunteers to help with clean‑up at the end of the party.
